MonicaWeb MIDI SequencerMonica is a web-based MIDI sequencer designed for playing Standard MIDI Files (SMF). It makes it easy to play SMF files in a web browser without requiring dedicated hardware sound modules or a full DAW setup.
Monica is free and requires no registration or login. Anyone can use it freely by simply accessing it through a web browser. For MIDI In, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is recommended.
Monica loads SoundFont (.sf2) files and plays MIDI using the selected sound source.
At present, Monica focuses on SMF playback. In the future, editing features will be expanded, and audio capabilities may be added, with the long-term goal of evolving into a full web-based DAW.
Monica is developed using OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude.
Monicaは、Standard MIDI File（SMF）を再生するために設計されたWebベースのMIDIシーケンサーです。ハードウェア音源やDAWを用意しなくても、Webブラウザ上で手軽にSMFを再生できる環境を提供します。
Monicaは無料で、登録やログインも不要です。ウェブブラウザからアクセスするだけで、だれでも自由に使えます。MIDI Inを使う場合は、ブラウザはGoogle ChromeかMicrosoft Edgeを推奨します。
MonicaはSoundFontフォーマットのsf2ファイルを読み込み、選択した音源で再生します。
Monicaは現時点ではSMFの再生機能のみですが、将来的には編集機能を拡張し、オーディオを搭載してWeb DAW化する予定です。
MonicaはOpen AIのChat GPTとAnthropicのClaudeで開発されています。
